Child Abuse - This is a workshop that utilizes real case studies and pictures to educate participants on the various indicators of abuse, state reporting procedures and how educators can make a huge impact on the lives of the children and their families. This class will also help participants identify family characteristics that may indicate a higher risk for abuse. Written by a children’s therapist for a real world approach!
Safety 1, 2, 3, Fun for You and Me - This workshop is designed to increase the prevention and management of childhood injuries. It will help staff understand the causes of childhood injuries and their relationship to child development and assist them in creating a safe environment.
