Date: Time: Location: Domestic Violence: Breaking the Cycle --This is a workshop that utilizes real case studies and pictures to educate participants on the various indicators of domestic violence, ways abusers gain control and characteristics signifying an abusive relationship. This class will also help participants identify children�s possible reactions to being inside of a family with domestic violence and how to break the cycle. Written by a children�s therapist for a real world approach! 4 hours BFTS * The participant will identify the definition, characteristics, reporting and reactions of domestic violence. * The participant will identify the ways abusers gain power and control and how to break the cycle. * The participant will identify and create a safety plan and identify children�s reactions to domestic violence.
